Terms of Service.
The terms that apply when you request or receive service from ColdenHeat.
1. Who These Terms Cover
These terms apply between you and ColdenHeat LLC ("ColdenHeat", "we", "us"), an HVAC contractor based in Weston, Florida, whenever you request a quote, book an appointment, or receive service from us.
2. Requesting Service
Submitting a request through this website is not a confirmed appointment. We will contact you to confirm the date and time. An appointment exists only once we have confirmed it with you directly.
3. Quotes and Pricing
- Quotes are based on the information available at the time and remain valid for the period stated on the quote.
- If the technician finds a different or additional problem once work begins, we will stop and tell you before doing anything that changes the price. No work beyond what you approved is ever performed without your say-so.
- Diagnostic and service-call fees, when they apply, are disclosed before we come out.
4. Payment
Payment is due when the work is completed unless we agreed otherwise in writing. We accept the payment methods listed on your invoice. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store your card number.
5. Warranty
We warrant our workmanship for the period stated on your invoice. Equipment and parts carry the manufacturer's warranty, which is separate from ours and subject to the manufacturer's terms and registration requirements.
Our warranty does not cover problems caused by:
- Work performed on the system by someone else after our visit
- Lack of the routine maintenance the manufacturer requires
- Power surges, flooding, storm damage, pests, or other events outside our control
- Pre-existing conditions we identified and you chose not to repair
6. Access to the Property
You agree to provide safe access to the equipment at the scheduled time, including gate codes, keys, or HOA authorization where needed. If we cannot access the property at the confirmed time, a trip charge may apply.
7. Cancellations
Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. We do the same for you: if we have to move your appointment, we will tell you as early as possible.
8. Communications
By giving us your phone number you agree that we may contact you about your service. Text messages are sent only if you consented to them, and you can stop them at any time by replying STOP. See our Privacy Policy for the details.
9. Limitation of Liability
We are licensed, insured, and EPA-certified, and we stand behind our work. To the extent permitted by Florida law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Florida consumer protection law.
10. Licensing
ColdenHeat LLC operates as a licensed and insured HVAC contractor in the State of Florida. Our license number appears on every quote and invoice, and we will provide it on request.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Broward County, Florida.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page reflects the current version. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in effect when we confirmed it.
